Remembering HH Bhakti Tirtha Swami

Once when I was visiting HH Bhakti Tirtha Swami Maharaj, due to polio-related muscle weakness and heart trouble I was mostly bedridden and could not climb stairs to go to the bathroom. So Swamiji said for me to stay on the couch in the basement, where there was a toilet by the laundry. After midnight the first night, someone came quietly down the stairs and tip-toed to the laundry room with an armload of clothes. I was amazed to see that it was Bhakti Tirtha Swami!

I said, Maharaja, what are you doing? Why are you doing laundry at this hour? He replied “The laundry needs to be done, but the Devotees are tired. I wanted to let them sleep. I have rounds to chant anyway“. He stayed and talked with me a while and then went to chant some rounds. During the time that I was living in the basement, Swami would send Maha Prasadam down to me, and come to visit me late at night, while doing laundry and/or chanting his rounds. Eventually he had the Devotees make popcorn and he and about 20 Devotees would come to the basement in the evening to visit with me and listen to Swami and I discuss Vaishnavism in the Bible and ancient Africa.

As a Child Evangelist, Swami was very knowledgeable about the Bible, and he actually still loved JESUS very much, and meditated on JESUS taking the sins of His Devotees, and the whole World. We used to discuss Vasudeva Datta, the Catholic Saints who were Intercessors or ‘Victim Souls’ (Stigmatists) and the Pure Land Buddhist Bodhisattvas. He was very much in that mood of taking the Vi-Karma or sins of others to guarantee their Salvation.

JESUS CHRIST’s Sacred Peacock Symbol

In the center picture Baby JESUS is on His Mother MARY’s Lap. MARY-MARIAM is NARI-NARAYANI. In the other pictures, JESUS as the Rig Vedic Cosmic PURUSHA and Sacred King is Sacrificed for the Sins of the World, on the Yupa Cross / Stanu Stambha of All Creation, and He is enthroned as the Triumphant Cosmic Lord. In these and the other pictures JESUS is symbolized by His Sacred Peacock or Fire-Bird / Phoenix.

The Peacock, Phoenix and Golden Pheasant, Cock and related birds were interchangeable as belonging to one of the important categories of the Sacred Birds of HERU, HELI, ELI, ALI or HARI (etc.). Specifically the Peacock common to India was also the Emblem of the Jewish Deity ELI and His Royal House of King David and Solomon of Jerusalem. Thus the Peacock also represented Jerusalem, Judah, Israel, Judaism and JESUS CHRIST as the Jewish MESSIAH.

The Peacock, which was often interchangeble with the Phoenix, was also an important symbol of Helios and His Sacred Cities of Heliopolis, the original City of Heliopolis (AUM/N AMUN, AMEN, ON) in Egypt, and the later city of Heliopolis Baalbek in Lebanon.

Why Must KRISHNA (HARI) Wear a Peacock Feather?

The Peacock was considered Sacred by the Egyptian, Greek, Jewish and Indian Devotees of the Supreme Lord HERU / HELI / ELI / HARI!

HELIOS KOUROS of Rhodes was also worshiped on the Isle of Crete. Sacred Art there depicts eyed feathers. The Sacred Peacock was the Symbol of the One True God

The Original and Final Word on YOGA

Does Yoga mean to merge Two Entities into One Entity, or One Non-Entity? Or is Yoga about the Relationship that Joins Two Together?

The Sanskrit root of the word Yoga can most significantly be found in the cognate (linguistically related) Greek root of the Biblical word zeugnymi, the root of the Latin Biblical word iugum, the root of the English Biblical word Yoke and the theological word conjugal as in Sacramental Marriage and the theology of Bridal Mysticism. What does this word mean in terms of Joining Two-as-One?

In all of the known words with this root, the meaning is to unite Two as One, as in a Yoke of oxen, or in the Love of conjugal or Bridal Mysticism. This word never means to in any way dissolve or annihilate two entities and merge them into One! Even in the word Conjugal Love, the concept of Two Bodies joined as One in Sexual Union, does not mean that the two Spirit-Souls have ceased to exist! Thus the One Flesh of the Biblical New Testament, Book of Mark, Chapter 10, Verse 9 specifically mentions the flesh of the conjugal union of natural marriage.

Russian word for God is BOG – Rooted in the Sanskrit BHAGAVAN

Linguists have long known that the Russian word for God, is BOG. I have just written the following for you and for all of our Friends here. Please Share it with others.

Slavic cCatholics and Other Devotees Call Their God BOG, as in BHAGAVAN!

An important Sanskrit Name for HARI, or KRISHNA-VISHNU, from the Vaishnava Scriptures is BHAGAVAN, from the root BHAG. The words Bhoga and Bhakti are from the same root. Among Slavic-Language Peoples, the Apostolic cCatholic Tradition of JESUS CHRIST has always used the BHAG-related Name of HARI (Biblical ELI) for “God“. Thus Slavic cCatholics call their God some variation of the Holy Name BOG (Sanskrit BHAG, BHAGAVAN).

All of the Russian-Language related “BOG” Names for God are known by Slavic linguistic experts to be related to the Sanskrit word BHAG. Unfortunately there is no pervasive realization among the Christian lay masses or even the religious devotees or scholars that they are referring to their God by an important Holy Name of HARI / ELI or KRISHNA-VISHNU.

HERU-WASU / ELI-YAHU / HELI-OS / HARI-VASU as KRSNA-VISHNU

HARI, KRISHNA, is the Source of all spiritual and material Worlds. Our local Sun Planet is just one of HARI’s infinite manifestations. When our Sun is considered a Form of HARI / God, our Sun is called SURYA-NARAYANA. If we study the 1008 Holy Names of SURYA NARAYANA, we can understand that SURYA is a Form of HARI or NARAYANA, KRISHNA-VISHNU. However this Solar-Globe Planetary Form of His is not His ‘Original’ or ‘Supreme’ Form. Scholars have thus been mistaken in their identification of HARI (KRISHNA) as part of their imagined Global Class of Supreme Solar Gods.
