None Come to the Father Hari Except thru the Grace of Balarama – Bal-Yahu

He explains that Nityānanda is a manifestation of Saṅkarṣaṇa, who is the origin of the Mahā-Viṣṇu. Kṛṣṇa’s first manifestation is as Balarāma and then Saṅkarṣaṇa, and after Saṅkarṣaṇa He is manifest as Pradyumna. In this way so many expansions take place. Although there are many expansions, Lord Śrī Kṛṣṇa is the origin, as confirmed in Brahma-saṁhitā. […]”

Thankyou Bhakta Peter for this Quote. Although Lord Balarama was originally worshiped by all of Humanity, with the onset of Kali Yuga (Age = Yuga) proper information and realization of His Self Revelation became distorted and then forgotten by much of the Human family. However, the ancient Sanskrit Vedic-Vaishnava Shastras (Scriptures) and Their AUTHORIZED COMMENTARIES are like a ‘time machine’ that can take us all of the way back to the Original Revelation, to MEET the Divine Revelator and Master of Mysteries, Lord Balarama HIMSELF!

Although the revelatory theology of Lord Balarama, Sri Krishna’s Second Self, is spread throughout ALL of the Vedic-Vaishnava Scriptures, in the Gaudiya Vaishnava Tradition of Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, the traditional ancient Brahma Lineage Theology of Lord Balarama is especially preserved and elaborated-on in the context of describing the attributes, activities and theology of Sri Nityanananda-Balarama, Who is considered to be Lord Balarama’s Avatara in the Divine Lila of Sri Sri Gaura-Nitai.

Thus to understand Lord Balarama from the Gaudiya-related perspective of the Brahma Sampradaya (Lineage) of Vaishnavism, which is historically and theologically related to the Afro-Helleno-Semitic Judeo-cCatholic Tradition of the ancient Mediterranean, one should carefully study the Vaishnava Scriptural Translations and Traditional Gaudiya Vaishnava Commentaries of the Modern Era Gaudiya Vaishnava Master, Srila Prabhupada.
Lord-Nityananda-is-Lord-BalaramaThroughout his written and oral teachings, Srila Prabhupada expounded in great depth on the Divine Revelation of Lord Balarama as the Second Self (or Second Person) of the Supreme Personality of Godhead. This theology of Lord Balarama, as explained repeatedly and in many different ways throughout Srila Prabhupada’s books and lectures, is identical to the theology of the Revelation of the Second Person of the Godhead in the Rhodes-related Afro-Helleno-Semitic Judeo-cCatholic Tradition, and the Second Person of the Tri-Kaya in Pure Land Buddhism.

Regrettably, with their exclusivistic and even ‘sectarian’ party-spirit focus on Gopi Bhava, many Devotees in the recent generation of Global ISKCON-related Gaudiya Vaishnavas have not shown much interest in deep study, contemplation and worship of Lord Balarama. As Lord Balarama is the Original Spiritual Master and the Rig Vedic Purusha as the Universal Savior Whose Cosmic Self-Sacrifice ‘Takes Away the Sins of the World’, and as He is the ONLY Initiator into the Divine Love Mysteries of Sri Sri Radha-Krishna, then this somewhat neglect of Lord Baladeva by certain Gaudiya Vaishnavas is certainly very regrettable.

In fact, for decades such neglectful Gaudiya Vaishnavas have opposed and attacked me for merely repeating what Srila Prabhupada has himself written and said about Lord Baladeva / Balarama! This is because they themselves are lacking realized knowledge about Him, because they have subtly been spiritually avoiding Him, thinking that they can somehow experience Sri Sri Radha-Krishna DIRECTLY without REALLY surrendering to Lord Balarama! Thus due to their avoidance of Lord Balarama, such Devotees are completely unable to recognize and appreciate HIs Saving Presence in the history and theology of the rest of Humanity. Actually, by avoiding Lord Balarama, they cannot make any real progress in their spiritual lives, because THERE IS NO QUESTION OF GETTING THE MERCY OF SRI SRI RADHA-KRISHNA WITHOUT FIRST GETTING THE MERCY OF LORD BALARAMA.


In the Judeo-cCatholic (Apostolic Christian) Tradition, “none come to the Father (HERU-HELI-ELI-HARI the First Person of the Godhead), except by the Son (BAL-YAHU the Second Person of the Godhead)”. The Third Person of the Godhead is the Lord of the Heart, the Holy Spirit, ATUM-ATEN-ATOMOS-ADONiah / Param-Atman. In Pure Land Buddhism These Three Persons are the Tri-Kaya of 1. Bhagavan (HARI / HRIH as the Dharma Kaya, Adi Purusha, Purusottama, or Amitabha), 2. Amitayus (HARI / HRIH as the Samboghya Kaya, Nirmanya Kaya or Avalokiteshvara) and 3. HARI / HRIH as Rupa Kaya, Who dwells in the Heart of all beings and things.

In ALL of these and related Revelatory Traditions, the Second Person of the Godhead is the ONLY WAY, TRUTH and LIFE, and NO ONE ‘COMES TO THE ‘FATHER’ / The FIRST PERSON, BUT BY (VIA) THE SECOND PERSON OF THE GODHEAD. This Theology is universal and simply understood, as the Second Person of the Godhead is the Mediator between souls and The First Person, and the sole Revelator of the First Person. He is also the Expressed Mercy and Loving GATHERING-IN of the First Person.


…And All Glories to Lord Balarama’s Representative, Saint Srila Prabhupada, who came not only to ‘ the Western Countries from impersonalism and voidism’, but who came to ALL HUMANITY to restore and revive Humanity’s Primal HARI NAMA Revelatory Tradition of Sri Sri Radha and Krishna and Lord Balarama, the sole Master of Their Divine Love Mysteries!

I run this website for Maharaj and not only do i concur with your statement but I am convinced that in the near future the entire world will know and recognize the impact of his research. Now as they asuras attempt to use our various diverse expressions of faith as a weapon against religion, the proofs that there is only one religion yet multiple of expressions of that love of God and Goddess, once accepted by the majority of the faithful, will bring harmony to the entire world.

  2. I would be most interested in hearing your precise preferred wording Maharaj for the common idea among bhakti traditions that the Name of God is not different from God. And do critique the following wordings. It seems the Jews say the Name of God and God are One. Pure Land Buddhists say the Name of Amitabha and Amitabha are non-dual. Vaishnavas say Krishna is not different from his Name. Islam seems to say the Name Allah is a sign of his essence and contains all the attributes of the other beautiful names. The Orthodox Christians have the most precise definition i have found, since they have been the most persecuted for holding this view… Aleksei Fedorovich Losev on God’s Name is God: He explains that Imiaslavie has devised this “mystical formula,” which needs to be spelled out:
    … the exact mystical formula of Imiaslavie will sound like this: a) the name of God is energy of God, inseparable from the essence of God itself, and therefore is God himself. b) However, God is distinct from His energies and from His name, and that is why God is not His name or a name in general…

    Of course, all of these Great Bhakti (Divine Love) devotional Traditions are historically and theologically related. Between them we can see so many and varied understandings of HASHEM or SAT NAM the True Name etc.

    Basically just as there are both the icon worshipers and the iconoclasts among all of these Traditions, there are those who worship God through, with, in and by His Holy Name(s), and there are also those that consider such Onoma / Nama / Sat Nam / Nami / Namu Nem (Butsu) worship to be IDOLATROUS.

    So the precise theology of The Holy Name that is found in any one of these Bhakti Traditions is closely related to that Tradition’s theology of the Form of God. Thus NAMA-RUPA or Name and Form are linked in these Bhakti Traditions. In Vaishnavism, God’s NAME reveals His FORM and His FORM reveals His NAME. HE and His NAME and FORM are ‘absolute’ and NON-DIFFERENT.

    To understand what is all-important in the Divine Revelation of God through His Nama-Rupa, we must try to grasp that Krishna’s NAME and REVEALED FORM IS BALARAMA, His own ‘Second Self’. Bala-Rama or Bala-Deva is SAM-KARSHANA. He is the Also Krishna. KARSHANA is another form of the Name KRISHNA. Properly the complex theology of Godhead’s Self-Revelation is through, with, in and by the Second Person of the Most Holy Trinity. Baladeva is the Original Spiritual Master and the Sole Initiator into the Mysteries of the Divine. God’s Name-Form (Form as Transcendental ‘Spiritual’, a Theophany or an Incarnation) can only be experienced through the MEDIUM of Lord Baladeva, the Second Person of the Transcendent-Emanating-Immanent Trinity / Godhead. Jesus Christ as that Second Person is that LOGOS or creative and revelatory ‘Word of God’. EXPERIENCING The Holy Name AS A PERSON is what establishes the devotee of the Holy Name in their living relationship with HASHEM.

  3. Bhakti Ananda Goswami: Jesus Christ is also the Veritas Icon / True or Revealed Form of the unseen God! He is God’s Incarnation AND His Theophany. Thus Jesus IS the NAME-FORM of the Transcendent God.

    BALA-DEVA is historically the YAHU of the Semites and the WASU / AUSU f the Africans. He is WASU-THEOS or the AUSU-DIOS of Egypt and Greater Africa. Later WASU of Thebes or AUSU of Northern Egypt was called AUSAR / OSIRIS by the Greeks. AUSU is the Semites’ YAHU. The BL Holy Name was a common By-Name of YAHU in His many shrines! Thus various forms of this Holy Name or BL Title can be found in the ancient regional sources. Whether it has bee rendered as BEL or BAAL or BAL or in any other way, it was a By-Name of YAHU, the Deity that was ALWAYS worshiped along with the Semites’ ‘Supreme Father God’ ELI or EL (ALI, ARI, URI, ORI, ILU etc.)

    The Heliopolitan Religious Tradition Greeks identified the Semites’ YAHU / BAAL with their own AUSU / AUSAR / OSIRIS and DIO-NYSOS.

    Just as AUSU / AUSAR in Egypt was always worshiped with HERU, as the inseparable HERU-AUSU or ‘HORUS’, in Greece HELI-OS was that same Duo-Deity, and among the Semites ELI-YAHU was the same Duo-Deity. ASAR-EL and ELI-AZAR, ARI-YAHU. URI-YAHU and even ALLAH were also among the compound Holy Names of this Supreme Duo-Deity, the First and Second Persons of the Most Holy Trinity. They of course were universally worshiped with Their All-Pervading Name-Form in the HEART / HRID / HARI-DAYA of all beings and things….Their Form as The Holy Spirit, PARAM-ATMA. Their Immanent Manifestation as the Supreme PARAM ATMA or ATMAN was the ADON-YAHU of the Semites and the ATOM-OS of the Greek Helios worshipers (not of the much later ‘material atomists’ of the atheistic Greek School of Democritos). In earliest Egypt the ATUM / ATON Form of the Supreme Lord of Heliopolis was His HIDDEN ALL-PERVASIVE FORM.

    Later at Amarna, HERU-AUSU-ATUM / HELI-OS-ATOMOS was worshiped as the All-Pervasive ATEN, by Pharaoh AKHENATEN. This Ruler’s Theophoric Name can be read as AKHEN-ATEN ONE ATEN, or as AKHE-NATEN ONE LORD / NATHAN (NETER, NETRA, NATHA or NOUTI). In Sanskrit EKA-ATMAN means ONE SELF or ONE GOD / ATMAN. One of the earliest names of the Vaishnavas in the ancient Sanskrit literatures is the EKANTINS, meaning the worshipers of THE ONE GOD. Some think that EKANTINS is a contraction of EKA-NATHINS, meaning the worshipers of EKA-NATHA.

    Krishna-Vishnu is also called EKA-NATHA meaning the ONE LORD. In Sanskrit NATHA means LORD. The word for LORD in Egyptian Coptic Bibles is NOUTI. Both Egyptian and Sanskrit have earlier variant forms of this word for LORD, NETER and NETRA. In Biblical Hebrew we find the compound theophoric Name NATHAN-EL. Commonly NATHAN is interpreted as ‘gift’, and NATHANIEL as ‘gift of God’, but it could just as well be understood as the compound Holy Name HERU-NETER or HARI-NATHA / NOUTI.

    TOVA-YAHU in Hebrew is clearly a cognate of the Sanskrit compound Holy Name VASU-DEVA. This was no doubt associated in Thebes Egypt with WASU-THEOS (DIOS) the Presiding Deity (POLIEUS) of the great City of ‘WASET’ or VASTU PURUSHA. As WASU THEOS / DIOS, AUSU / AUSAR / OSIRIS was VASU-DEVA or the Semites’ TOVA-YAHU. The City of WAST / Thebes was also called DIOSPOLISMAGNUS by the Greeks!! This is clearly cognate with (reversed) MAHA-DEVA-PURUSHA in Sanskrit. Mahadeva is coimmonly a Name of Shiva. Shiva is an Expansion of Baladeva. Vasudeva is an Vishnu Expansion of Baladeva’s.

    What does the BL Name or Title of YAHU mean? Some say that it means LORD. The descending Savior ‘Son’ or ‘Brother’ of the Semites’ ELI / ILU (etc.) was called BAAL / BL etc. Some say this name means STRONG or POWERFUL, but if the meaning is traced outside of these assumptions, the BL Holy Name has several important revelatory meanings. It is a word for YOUTH or BOY like the Greek KOUR-OS. It is also the root of VALIANT, VALOR, and chiVALry! It is also the root of words for WHITE BL ‘BLANC’, PR ‘PURE’, PYRE, FIRE, as well as for the sacred color ‘royal’ BL BLUE. Thus some of BALADEVA’s NAMES refer to His Bodily Color as PURE WHITE, or to Him as the PURIFYER, or to His Dress as being (royal or) sacred BLUE. Beholding the RUPA or Form of Lord Baladeva, His Name describes His Form and His Form Reveals His Name. He is the Nama-Rupa Revelation of God as the Ever-Young, All-Purifying / Supremely Pure, VALorous Descending Second Self of ELI / HERU / HARI, Who is always clothed in the Royal Blue of the Incarnate Savior-King!

Bhakti Ananda Goswami: … there are the apophatic and the kataphatic forms of mysticism, and those jnanis or gnosis attracted religionists that are neti-neti / via negativa or apophatic-inclined tend to be iconoclasts and to even reject God as revealed in His Holy Name! Therefore it is the kataphatic mystics who actually EXPERIENCE GOD in His Blessed Sacrament or His Holy Name or His Icon!
