Dear Family and Friends, Please put aside any preconceived notions that you might have about who the mere astrological planetary regent Greco-Roman ‘sun god’ Helios-Apollo was, and try to understand that all such mundane polytheistic ideas were a very late devolution of unified humanity’s original, primal emanational and incarnational devotional Monotheism. In that Monotheism the Original Supreme Personality of Godhead was the 1. Transcendent, 2. Mediating (Emanating and Incarnating) and 3. Immanent HARI, Who as God-Who-Is-Love was HARI, the LORD OF ALL HEARTS, and the HEART OF THE COSMOS / CREATION. HARI dwelt in the CORE, HRID / HEART HRIDAYA/ HARI-DAYA of All BEINGS and THINGS! Thus HE was not just some mundane solar planetary regent or just the planetary ‘father’ of our local solar system.
He was the Source of ALL ‘Spiritual and Material Worlds’! As the Lord of LOVE / LOBHA, Rasa Raja, the REX, REGENT, Hebrew RAZAN, RAJA KING of all flavors of Holy Love, He was worshiped in His ‘Original Form’ as Meghistos Kouros, with His Supreme Shekinah (Shakti) Rhoda-Kore on Their Sacred Lotus Island of Rhoda-Nymphia-Asteria in the Eastern Mediterranean Sea. Thus the worship of Srimati Radha Rani, Sri Krishna and Their Supreme Hierophant Baladeva was at the historical and theological HEART of all human progress in the ancient World!
To understand this astounding truth, we must go back past the corrupted and degraded forms of mundane polytheism that devolved from the original Monotheistic Bhakti Yoga devotion to Radha-Krishna and Their Sole Master of Divine Love Mysteries, The World Savior, Lord Bala Deva. This means that we must clear our minds (and hearts) of the prejudicial nonsense that we have been taught, and re-examine the evidence of history and theological Revelation, from a new perspective, which is in fact the oldest ‘angle of vision’…that of our primal Human unity as One People of God, HARI, the Transcendent-Mediating-Immanent Loving Lord of All Hearts!
Africans, Indo-Europeans and Semites all worshiped Helios (Heru-Ausu, Eli-Yahu, Hari-Vasu) of Rhodes as the Supreme Lord of All. To them He was the Source of all of the other Theophanies and Incarnations of God. The ‘Gods’ of the Heliopolitan Asyla Federation Temple City-States and Nomes were all ‘Waset’ Polieus VASTU PURUSHA Forms of His. Thus He was the Polieus / Purusha / Pharaoh as the Presiding Deity and Protector of every Devotee’s home, every neighborhood, temple Community, Egyptian PER City and Greek POL, Jewish YIR, Northern European BUR, BERG, BOROUGH, Indic PURA, and S.E. Asian POR City etc. Every TOWN and DOMAIN (DHAMA), every ASYLA DharmASHALLA, every LOCALE was His LOKA.
His Supreme BUCOLIC PARADISE, the Lotus Island of Rhoda-Nymphia, was His Lotus-World Gokula Para-desha. Eternally Kouros, the Greatest Youth as Jupiter Juvenalis (Krishna Nava Yauvana), on Rhodes He played with His older Brother Dionysos (Baladeva) and His Expansions or Emanations the Kouroi Cowherd Boys (the Gopas) .
Rhoda-Kore / Radha (Hare) was His Supreme Shekinah / Shakti there. She was the Source of all of the Korae Milkmaids (Gopis) the nymphs, nyads and the Goddesses of the Heliopolitan Federations.
Helios Kouros was also called ‘Apollo’ (‘P L or ‘B R) especially by the Romans. Scholars have long debated the origin and meaning of the Name Apollo. Since Helios Kouros, Apollo, herds His 365 Sacred White Cows during the day, and His 365 Sheep at night, It appears that His Name is GOPALA. Gopala may have originally been spelled ‘pl or ‘br with the initial hard aspirate ‘ breathing actually being a G sound.
Apollo is also, like Helios Kouros, the Lila Father of Asclepios IASAS / Yashas Jesus. Asclepios Iasas was believed to have inherited His Father’s Healing Arts, because previously Helios-Apollo was the ‘Great Physician’.
Actually Apollo’s Sister, Artemis, was worshiped as Subhadra, Krishna’s Sister. The weapon-bearing Protectress Form of Subhadra is cognate with the weapon-bearing Protectress Form of Artemis.
The Infant and Child Forms of Heru-Ausu / Hari-Vasu were also worshiped in the Mediterranean Region. Many small terracotta votive offering Murtis of Heru and Ausu, HARI and VASU-DEVA have been found, which depict them both playing with and eating something out of a pot. I have viewed many of these and they are clearly the classical Form of Krishna and Balarama as The Butter Thieves.
Our purpose is to enlighten all of humanity regarding our common origin of faith in the One True God. This God has a real-world history (and pre-history) of worship by ALL of humanity. He was not just an ethnocentric tribal or racial deity or ancestral spirit of one small and late kinship and linguistic group. His worship was so primal that it predated the geographic isolation and differentiation of the major tribal (‘racial’) and linguistic groups! The evidence of these Kouros Rhodos (Helios) KRISHNA and Kore Rhoda RADHA Murtis is extremely important in any comparative study of the primally related Mediterranean Region and the Indo-Asian Region Bhakti Traditions.
Because the Murti or ‘ICON’ Makers of the Sacred Isle of Rhodes perfected the art form of ‘Monumental Stone Sculpture In The Round’, their techniques eventually spread widely, even to India and the Buddhist Lands, but the Kouros and Kore Murtis in these Montages were still in the beginning stages of the development of the art form. Thus they showed the rigid influence of the Egyptian Osirian Type of the Kouros and Kore. Eventually the Classical Era of perfected Rhodian Technique Greek Monumental Stone Sculpture commonly depicted Kouros Helios and Dionysos with a graceful THREE-FOLD BENDING FORM, and some of the other essential attributes of Krishna and Balarama.

In India there were two main Schools of Vaishnava and Pure Land Buddhist related Murti makers, who both eventually learned to use the Classical Rhodian School’s Stone Carving Techniques. These Schools are sometimes called the Gandharan and Mathuran Schools of Buddhist Sacred Art (or iconography). The diffusion of the particular stone carving techniques from Rhodes and the Mediterranean to India and Mahayana Buddhist Asia has been well studied by art experts. The Mathuran School retained more of the previous Indian rules for Murtis created in other media, while the Gandharan School reflected more of the Greek Aesthetic.
In India the Lord as Krishna, Balarama, Shiva and Skanda/Murugan has also been depicted in the nude, without any hint of obscenity intended or experienced by Their Devotees. These are mostly archaic ancient religious Murtis of Kouros Helios and Kore-Rhoda of Rhodes. They are of Krishna and Radha (Rhoda). Rhoda is chastely covered, while Kouros (Krishna) in this Form was depicted as chaste (not sexually aroused) and might have even been bathed, clothed and fed etc. during worship. It is known that the Greeks and Egyptians bathed, clothed and fed and otherwise served their consecrated Murtis of the Lord and His Shaktis, Rhoda and Her ‘expansions’. In fact such service goes back to the previous aniconic Greek worship of ZEUS PETROS (or Jupiter Lapis) and the Zeus-Jupiter-Ammon (Amun-RA) Stone in Egypt, when these sacred ‘Self-manifesting’ Shilas (aniconic Stone Forms) of the Supreme Lord were worshiped. Why is the Shalagram Shila, with the discus of HARI on it, called a fossil AMMONITE? If one studies the worship of sacred stones in the ancient Mediterranean Region and in India and elsewhere, which was common before the development of the iconography of Sacred Art, many ‘cross-cultural’ connections can be identified. According to Traditions throughout the Region, before the age of carved, molded or metal-cast Murtis, the Lord was worshiped and served in miraculous Self-Manifesting AN-ICONIC Forms, Thus He was worshiped in Fire, the ‘Burning Bush’, various Animal Forms, Sacred Stones and Revelatory Natural Wonders etc.
The below Website is dominated by Protestantism, and thus calls the last Book of the Bible “Revelation”. The Catholic Name of the Book is the Apocalypse. Still this Website is very useful from the stand-point of comparing the many mostly Protestant translations of the Bible and their Protestant, generally very anti-Catholic commentaries. I am posting the link here for comparison of how this mysterious ‘White Stone With God’s New Name’ Verse of the Apocalypse / ‘Book of Revelation’, has been translated and commented-on even by Protestants. Note that traditionally by Catholic Guru, Shastra and Sadhu, the Name on the White Stone has been considered to be a hidden Name of God or Christ. Thus this idea is repeated (along with more modern and imaginative speculations) by the various Protestant Bible Commentators listed on this page for Revelation Chapter 2, Verse 17.
