Hari-Vasu-Atman / Eli-Yahu-Adon in Vaishnavism and in the Judeo-Catholic Tradition

Standard

Hari bol! Dear Joel, Significantly it is a Catholic Bible that I am holding. I am both a Vaishnava Sannyasi and a Catholic Hermit under private vows. The Catholic Church recognizes as valid whatever licit or offerable and actually do-able vows a person makes to God. When a person is a Catholic and makes traditionally offerable vows as a ‘monk’ or ‘nun’, but does not make these vows within a religious order like the Jesuits, Franciscans or Carmelites etc. then those vows can be considered ‘private’. They are still binding upon the de-vo-tee (compare Vote and Vow) who has made the vow/vote. To be ‘licit’ or a legal, offerable vow, the thing offered must be a holy or good thing, offered with the proper intention. It must also be do-able by the person making the sacrifice. This is important, because God will never require of someone, something that they cannot do!

You have a very auspicious Holy Name. JO-EL is a compound of the two most important and frequently occuring Names of God in the Hebrew Scriptures! These two Holy Names are more commonly recognised by English readers as JAHU/YAHU and ELI/EL. ELI-YAHU or ELIJAH in English is another version of this compound or ‘by-name’ combination of the two Holy Names Eli and Yahu.

I began the worship and in-depth meditation-study of the Persons of the Trinitiy as revealed by these Holy Names in the mid 1960s, and from Them all of the rest of my realizations have manifest, leading me to become both a Vaishnava Sannyasi and a Catholic Monk/Hermit.

ELI-YAHU / HARI-VASU

The Supreme Personality of Godhead was worshiped as the Holy Trinity in the Helios-centric Monotheisim of Pre-Historic Rhodes Isle (North of Egypt in the Mediterranean [Middle-Earth] Sea) and the Nile Delta. With the advent of writing we are able to identify the Holy Names of this Triune Deity in Egyptian Heliopolitan Monotheism. Thus we know that in Northern Egypt this Trinity was called HERU-ASU-ATM/N and in Southern Egypt He was called HERU-WASU-ATN/M. The Western Semites, including those of the Bible, called this same Triune Deity ELI-YAHU-ADM/N. The Greeks called Him HELI-ASU-ATM/N, from which we now derive Helios (Elias, Soleus etc.), and ‘self’, ‘individual/indivisable’ and ‘being’ words like autos, atomos, and ontos. If we trace this same Deity towards the East, we find that He is HARI-VASU-ATMAN! He is Krishna, Baladeva (Vasudeva ie Vishnu) and their all-pervasive Holy Spirit ParamAtman !

Often, because Their all-pervasive ATUM/ATEN Adon Person was considered to be manifest through both Eli and Yahu, this Deity Adon-Yahu or Atum/Aten in Egypt was just refered-to by some compound of these two Holy Names alone, with Their Third Person implied. For example, the Tri Kaya or Trinity of Pure Land Buddhism consists of Amitabha, Amitayus and Lokeshvara in the heart of all beings, but Amida (Amitabha) and Amitayus can be invoked by Their Mantra Name HRIH and/or Lokeshvara the Lord of the heart can be invoked with the same Nama Mantra. HRIH is also the Nama Mantra of Japanese and Tibetan Pure Land-related Trinitarian Buddhism. Thus Japanese Amida Buddha or Tibetan Avalokiteshvara or Chen Rei Zei may also be invoked by HRIH. Hari is the LOVE Name of God, and Yahu/Asu/Vasu/Vish/Us/Ousios etc. is the IS, I-AM, TO-BE, TO-EXIST etc. Name of God, so together these two Holy Names identify GOD-WHO-IS LOVE. Thus Buddhist HRIH, like Allah, Harih, Helios, Eliyahu and Joel is the same compound Name and invokes the same Lord of the Heart, Hari-Vasu, Supreme and all-manifesting God-Who-Is-love!

Thus, throughout the ancient world, compounds of these two most Holy Names are VERY common. Some examples are Roman Soleus, Greek Helius, Egyptian Heru-Asu, Heru-Wasu, ‘Horus’, Semitic Eli-Yahu, Eloah, Allah, Joel, AreYahu (a pun), Persian Hvareh, Indic Hari-Vasu, Haryeh, Harih, Hareh, Surih, Suryah, Pure Land Buddhist HRIH, etc. Western scholars say that this deity is just the supreme mundane demigod of their poorly understood so-called ‘solar monotheism’ or henotheism, but sadly they do not understand what they are seeing as this ‘monotheism’ at all. The key to actually understanding this most ancient and all-pervasive of religions is to study its living manifestations and most especially the worship of Radharani and Krishna-Vishnu (Baladeva) and Paramatma in Krishna-centric Vaishnavism. This is not any mundane solar monotheism. Kouros Rhodos and Kore Rhoda (on Rhodes) were the source of all gods and godesses, of all spiritual and material worlds, and Baal-Yahu was the sole Initiator-into and Spiritual Master of THEIR Divine Love Mysteries. Radhadharani (Catholic’s Mary as the Mystical Rose!) reveals the REAL NATURE of this Supreme Deity! As Mary She is the incarnate Shekinah of Eli and the Shakti of Hari, but in the ‘Bridal Mysticism’ of Her Transcendent Mysteries, She is Rhoda/Radha the Beloved of God, Rhoda Mystica The Mystical Rose! Thus ‘Bridal Mysticism’ or Divine Love is at the heart of this religion. This is WHY it is the ONE FAITH of ancient humanity, because it is the singular and original religion of Transcendent LOVE.
