The Supreme Lord’s ‘Halo’ was originally His circle pictograph or hieroglyph with the phonetic value of ‘R or ‘L (HR or HL). This is the ‘ aspirate H and its sound shifts, PLUS the interchangable sound-shifting R or L sound. Thus His
‘H+R/L Name was HERU, HELI, ELI, SOLE, HVARE/ OLU/ ARI, URI, ORI, HARI, HARA, SURA, HRIH etc.

Phos/ Pho As An Important Name of God Accross the Great Bhakti Divine Love Traditions
Elsewhere I have written extensively on Buddhism and especially Pure Land Buddhism and its historical and theological connections to Krishna-Centric Vaishnavism and the Judeo-cCatholic Heliopolitan Asyla Federation Mega Tradition.
Let us now consider what the Holy Names HRI, Amida and Phos / Pho have to do with each other across the Great Bhakti Devotional ‘Other-Power’ SalvificTraditions.
Jesus Christ is the LIFE and (Greek Biblical) PHO PHOS, LIGHT of the World, and the INFINITE LIGHT Of God. In Pure Land Buddhism, The Persons of the Trikaya Godhead may be called AMITA-BHA and AMITAYUS meaning INFINITE LIGHT and INFINITE AYUS / LIFE.
Biblical Greek PHO/PHOS is cognate
The Sei-He-Ki symbol of Usui Reiki is used for emotional & mental healing. It is obviously based upon the Buddhist symbol for the HRI heart mantra. Sei-He-Ki (pronounced as “Say-Hay-Key”) has been translated many ways: “The Universal Key”, “I have the key”, “God & humanity become one”, “Remember your self”, “One’s natural disposition”…What meanings and connections do you find in the term Sei-He-Ke and in these symbolic representations of the Holy Name HRI? HRI BOL!
When I write HRIH in all caps like this, I am refering to the Mahayana Pure Land Buddhist bija or seed mantra for the Adi Purusha, Adi Buddha, Bhagavan, etc., the Dharma Kaya AMITABHA (Krishna), AND His expansions From His ‘reflex’ the Sambhoga Kaya AMITAYUS (Baladeva) ie all of His Benevolent and Wrathful Forms of Lokeshvara (Avalokiteshvara = Vishnu), as well as THEIR (AMITABHA and AMITAYUS) Immanent Form as Their Nirmanaya Kaya or RUPA KAYA.
From Sri Lankan and Nepali-Tibetan Buddhism to Japan I have seen and/or heard HRIH used to invoke all three Persons or KAYA-BODIES of the Pure Land Buddhist Trikaya Trinity.
OM AMI DEWA HRIH
Thank you for following-up on my assertions that HRIH is an important Holy Name for the Three Persons of the Pure Land Buddhist Trinity!
The PL Buddhist Doctrine is that invoking the ‘Other Power’ of this Triune Godhead through His Holy Name is the Dharma of the Dharma Ending Age, the YUGA DHARMA! HRIH NAMA, HRIH NAMA, HRIH NAMA…
